Job Summary
Teach Language Arts to 7th grade students at Bessemer City Middle under NC standards; develop and deliver instruction, assess student progress, communicate with parents, utilize technology (Smartboard), collaborate with PLCs and staff, manage classroom, prepare instructional materials, ensure licensure compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited college/university
- Must be fully licensed as an English Teacher (00100) or eligible for licensure
- Must be fully licensed in 78180 or eligible for licensure, if hired for middle school
- Strong background in North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core
