Job Summary
Lane Closure Specialist responsible for performing lane closures on state highways and roadways, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, and working independently or as part of a traffic control crew. Establish safe work zones with proper equipment, set up/take down lane closures, collaborate to ensure safety, manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles, and participate in ongoing training including ATSSA certification and defensive driving. Entry-level role with rapid advancement opportunities to Lead Protector, Field Supervisor, or Manager. Physical demands include variable hours, exposure to fumes/heat/noise, outdoor and strenuous labor, lifting up to 50 pounds, and requiring good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination. Competitive hourly pay starting at $16.25-$17.00 based on experience, with benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO) and potential for overtime.
