Landscaping Crew Member - Secured Access

Job Summary
Check in with your supervisor and team, then load the truck with tools and equipment for the day's assignments. Execute landscaping tasks including mowing large lawn areas, edging sidewalks and driveways, trimming around trees and fences, weeding flowerbeds, pruning shrubs, laying mulch, and planting seasonal flowers. Upon wrapping up, blow off walkways, clear debris, and ensure the site looks polished. Reload tools, clean the work area, and communicate site notes or equipment issues to your crew leader. Once back at the office, help unload, clean up, and prepare for the next day. No experience required; full training provided on safe tool use and techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate Security Clearance
- Valid RealID
- Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access
- Must be willing to learn how to safely use landscaping tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around equipment and outdoor environments
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate respectfully with coworkers and supervisors
- Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Attention to detail when completing tasks such as debris removal, edging, or cleanup
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Requires sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle tools and perform detailed tasks
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind
- Requires visual acuity to inspect work quality, identify hazards, and ensure safety compliance
- Must be able to hear and respond to verbal instructions, equipment sounds, and environmental cues
