Job Summary
Maintain and enhance outdoor spaces by designing gardens, walkways, and functional areas while ensuring plant health and environmental sustainability. Operate hand tools, small and large engine equipment, skid steers, and loaders to execute landscape projects, lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly in fast-paced conditions. Manage client landscapes to ensure ongoing beauty and well-being, requiring excellent communication skills to meet specific needs. Work autonomously with flexible hours including occasional weekends, utilizing personal protective equipment for safety. Required Qualifications
- A Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application
- Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape related field
- Must be able to operate equipment safely
- The responsibility and independence to work autonomously
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Requires good manual dexterity
- Excellent stamina is required
- Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work

- Ability to work with and near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Requires frequent standing, kneeling, walking, pulling, reaching, stooping and bending
- Requires walking primarily on uneven turf or rocky areas while on job sites
- These areas will require the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection
- Will be exposed to dust, dyes, grease, odors, mechanical and electrical hazards, and all types of weather and temperature conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Horticulture/Arboriculture Trade Certification a bonus
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and grasses in growing, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers
- A desire to grow, craves opportunity, loves problem solving and process improvement
- The ability to run various types of equipment, who enjoys heavy lifting in various weather conditions
