Landscaping and Facilities Technician

Job Summary
Maintain exterior grounds across multiple Cardea Health program sites in Alameda County, performing landscaping, groundskeeping, and basic facilities maintenance to keep properties safe, clean, and welcoming. Responsibilities include mowing, pruning, planting, irrigation system maintenance, litter/removal of hazards, parking lot upkeep, seasonal beautification, basic repairs (paint, lighting, HVAC accessories), equipment operation and maintenance, managing work orders and supplies, and coordinating with supervisors. Must travel between sites with own vehicle and adhere to safety policies; collaborate with staff to identify maintenance needs and address property concerns.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of landscaping, groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Own vehicle for transportation between sites
- Ability to travel between multiple program locations
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and basic maintenance tools
- Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
