Job Summary
Provide landscape maintenance support for industrial, commercial, and public properties. Responsibilities include cutting turf with power mowers, edging and trimming with gas-powered edgers/trimmers, pruning shrubs and low trees, planting and maintaining flower beds, operating landscape equipment safely, weeding, mulching, trash pickup, and basic preventative maintenance of equipment. Must be at least 18 years old and capable of lifting up to 40–50 lbs, with familiarity in horticultural maintenance and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Compensation is $18-$20 per hour with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holidays, paid time off, and potential performance-based incentives.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Certified on level 1 equipment (back pack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.) and up to 50 lbs. for loading/unloading
- Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
- Experience operating power mowers, edgers, trimmers, blowers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with power mowers and gas-powered edgers/trimmers
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
