Job Summary
Perform general landscape maintenance including planting, fertilizing, irrigating, pruning, and rotating plants to keep outdoor spaces clean and guest-ready. Inspect plants for insects and disease, coordinate pest control, and install or repair irrigation systems, drains, planters, and landscape timbers. Assist with lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, weed-eating, raking, and maintaining gravel areas while operating equipment like tractors, front-end loaders, forklifts, Bobcats, riding mowers, and High Rangers. Clean gutters, dispose of trash, and maintain water features. Monitor greenhouse temperatures and fans, provide decorative greenery for special events, and pitch in wherever needed to support park operations. Maintain tools and equipment daily by checking fluid levels and making minor repairs.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain)
- Strong communication skills—able to read, write, and speak clearly
- Must be available to work 30+ hours per week year-round
