Job Summary
Provide landscape maintenance support for industrial, commercial, and public properties. Primary duties include cutting turf with power mowers, trimming and edging with gas-powered edger/trimmer, operating gas-powered blower, pruning shrubs/low trees, planting and maintaining flower beds, operating edger/trimmer along sidewalks, picking up trash and blowing leaves, mulching, weeding, basic preventative maintenance on equipment, and reporting unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader. Must demonstrate safety awareness, polite customer interaction, and the ability to work outdoors performing physical labor. Looks for 18+ years old, certification on level 1 equipment, and valid driver’s license; BrightView offers full-time benefits and values teamwork and a strong work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Certified on level 1 landscaping equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower)
- Possess strong stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and up to 50 lbs for loading materials
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle and motor vehicle record standards
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers) and perform manual labor with hand tools
- Flexible work hours including weekends or holidays if needed
