Job Summary
Maintains landscapes for industrial, commercial, and public properties by performing basic tasks under supervision. Responsibilities include operating power mowers, gas-powered edgers/trimmers, blowers, pruning shrubs, planting and maintaining flower beds, mulching, weeding, and debris cleanup. Reports unsafe conditions to crews, adheres to safety practices, and demonstrates a polite, customer-friendly demeanor. Requires physical ability to lift heavy materials, operate landscaping equipment safely, and work outdoors in varying weather; valid driver’s license and flexibility for weekend/holiday work. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers)
- Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower)
- Possess strong stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (up to 50 lbs for trailer loads)
- Ability to work extended hours including weekends or holidays if needed
