Job Summary
Landscape Technician (Stormwater) responsible for routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems on commercial properties, including ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, and stormwater assets. Tasks include mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance, light construction, and operating landscaping equipment. Must be willing to travel locally and regionally (10-15 days per month) and possess a valid driver’s license; background and drug screening required. Eligible for overtime, per diem on travel days, and benefits; position offers opportunities for long-term career growth within Apex.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally (10-15 days per month)
- Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting) and work in various weather conditions
- Experience with landscaping equipment and materials preferred
- DOT interstate transportation requirements compliance (age 21+)
