Job Summary
Landscape Technician (Stormwater) skilled in routine landscape maintenance and light construction related to stormwater infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates). Performs mowing, weed trimming, debris removal, and site cleanup; operates landscaping and light construction equipment; travels locally/regionally (approx. 10 days per month) to client sites; strong safety awareness and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions. Must have 1-2+ years of manual-labor outdoor experience, valid drivers license, and be able to pass background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings. Located in New Haven, CT with hourly pay range $19-$21, plus benefits and opportunities for overtime, per diem, and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally (10 days per month)
- Valid drivers license, safe driving record
- Ability to operate landscaping and light construction equipment
- DOT interstate transportation requirements compliance (age 21+)
- Pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
- Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
