Job Summary
Lead a team of watershed management Service Technicians in maintaining and improving storm drainage systems to mitigate flooding and erosion while identifying and documenting issues needing repair. Operate and maintain company equipment including a pick-up truck and trailer, and complete maintenance and inspection reports to track crew expenses. Coordinate hotel arrangements for the team during overnight travel and conduct regular safety trainings. This role requires driving as an essential function, a valid DOT medical certificate, and the ability to travel 4-5 days per week in all weather conditions. Candidates with three or more years of directly related experience may qualify for an enhanced starting wage.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an analytical approach to stormwater drainage management
- Proficient with mobile technology (i.e. iPads, Laptops, Email, etc.)
- The ASDM must be willing to travel and be away from home 4-5 days per week
- Able to perform duties in all types of weather conditions in order to monitor effectiveness of SCMs
- Maintain a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Maintain a current and valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicles operated
- Remain insurable under the Company's automobile insurance policy
- Immediately notify Human Resources if your license, medical certification, or insurability status changes, is restricted, suspended, or revoked
