Job Summary
Oversee daily operations across active landscape construction sites, supervising leading hands, crews, and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Coordinate materials, labour, and equipment while liaising with site project managers, tier 1 contractors, and principal contractors. Maintain strong client-facing communication, monitor quality control, address defects, and ensure SWMS and site safety requirements are followed. Complete site documentation, reports, and project updates to support the successful delivery of civil landscaping, streetscape upgrades, and commercial installations across South East Queensland. Requires Cert III Landscape Construction or similar, plus a White Card and manual driver's licence. Average 41–42 hour weeks with occasional night works; company provides dual cab ute, uniforms, PPE, and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with a tier 1 or large commercial landscape contractor
- Strong understanding of landscape construction and site delivery
- Experience with MRTS specifications
- Cert III Landscape Construction or similar highly regarded
- Ability to manage crews, subcontractors and multiple site activities
- Confident communicating with project managers, engineers and clients
- Experience reading plans and coordinating site works
- Strong safety awareness and knowledge of site compliance
- White Card
- manual driver's licence
