Job Summary
The Landscape Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating landscaping and ground maintenance activities, including directing worker tasks such as mowing, mulching, and tree/shrub installation. Key responsibilities include monitoring project activities for compliance with deadlines and quality, managing inventory and equipment maintenance, training and evaluating team members, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid State of Illinois drivers’ license
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in Landscaping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Monitoring of team members to ensure work quality
- Ability to maintain composure in difficult and complex situations
- Manage one's own time and the time of others
