Job Summary
Plan, assign, and oversee a crew maintaining parks, trails, forests, streams, and landscaped areas. Establish schedules, allocate resources, verify work quality, and interpret project plans. Train and mentor staff, assist with recruitment, and contribute to the department budget. Oversee equipment care, safety, work orders, and inventory while utilizing GIS and irrigation management software. Participate in safety and common property committees. This hands-on role requires standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly in varying outdoor conditions. Join Mountain Park HOA to lead stewardship efforts across 185 acres of common property.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in Landscape design/maintenance
- Experience in Irrigation and landscape management
- Experience in Horticulture, arboriculture, or forestry
- Experience in Sustainable land care and ecosystem management
- Strong supervisory skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of environmentally responsible landscaping practices
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crouch frequently
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs occasionally
