Job Summary
Perform fertilizer and chemical applications, including spreading granular fertilizer, mixing treatments, and diagnosing and addressing insects, diseases, and weeds on commercial properties. Prepare daily routes by loading tools and equipment, then transport supplies to client locations while safely operating hose and reel systems and zero-turn spray machines. Conduct regular equipment inspections, perform light maintenance, and drive company trucks and trailers to assigned sites. Clean job sites after each application and adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE such as helmets, fall protection, and gloves. Ensure work meets quality standards and client expectations while maintaining a clean, operational fleet.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional spray or fertilization experience
- Previous operation of a hose and reel and zero-turn spray machine
- Ability to read application rates on product labels and perform basic math to calibrate fertilizer spreaders
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable

- Able to work flexible hours
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, twist, and squat for prolonged periods throughout the day
- Ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds multiple times per day
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, high humidity, and rain
- Possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States for a minimum of three years
- Maintain a clean driving record for at least three years
- Successfully pass a drug screening
