Job Summary
Russo Landscapes seeks a Landscape Construction Crew Leader to oversee residential landscape projects, manage a crew of 2-4, operate machinery, and ensure project quality from start to finish. Responsibilities include drainage and irrigation installation, constructing retaining walls, and implementing landscaping features like patios and lighting. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential landscape construction, strong leadership skills, and a proactive work ethic. This role emphasizes accountability, communication with clients and crew, and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Must be experienced and capable in residential landscape construction
- Rough & finish grading with skid steer, excavator, and mini skid
- Drainage & irrigation installation
- Retaining walls (modular block, natural stone)
- Paver, flagstone, and concrete patio/walkway installation
- Sod, trees, shrubs, and plant installation
- Landscape lighting installation
- Safe operation of truck, trailer, and construction equipment
- Ability to read plans and follow layout
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Proficient in English

- Using transit/laser level for layout & grading
- Masonry, brick, or stacked stone work
- Pergolas, fencing, outdoor kitchens, carpentry
- Water features
- Basic equipment maintenance & repair
- Proficient in Spanish
