Job Summary
Project Manager leads the strategic and operational delivery of non-maintenance landscape projects across the San Francisco Bay Area, overseeing lifecycles from pre-construction to close-out, ensuring safe, on-time, quality-driven results while maintaining profitability. Responsibilities include leadership of the Construction Division workflow, mentoring Foremen and crews, coordinating with sales/estimating, managing budgets and change orders, prequalifying subcontractors, liaising with high-net-worth homeowners and designers, and ensuring compliance with safety programs (IIPP/Cal/OSHA). Requires deep knowledge of hardscape, irrigation, drainage, plan interpretation, vendor/subcontractor management, and proficiency in PM software (Procore, Bluebeam, CAD, PlanSwift, Sage Master Builder) with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in landscape construction (10–20 preferred)
- 2-3 years in a senior management role overseeing multiple crews and high-dollar projects
- Deep knowledge of hardscape construction (pavers, walls)
- Complex irrigation systems, drainage/grading
- Horticultural best practices
- Construction drawing fluency across civil, landscape, and architectural plans
- Ability to read and interpret plans and identify constructibility issues
- High proficiency in project management software for design, renderings, and estimating (Procore, Bluebeam, CAD, Plan Swift, Sage Master Builder) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR; C-27 Landscape Contractor license or CLP a plus
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to navigate active construction sites and travel between multiple job sites
