Job Summary
Apply knowledge of plants and aesthetics to grow, prune, and fertilize shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. Design gardens, walkways, and sitting areas while ensuring plant health and cleaning debris. Operate hand tools, small and large engine equipment, skid steers, and loaders safely. Lift a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly and work on uneven turf or rocky areas. Work outside in various weather conditions with moderate to loud environments, using required personal protective equipment. Perform duties autonomously in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours including occasional weekends.
Required Qualifications
- A Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application
- Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape related field
- Must be able to operate equipment safely
- The responsibility and independence to work autonomously
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Requires good manual dexterity
- Excellent stamina is required
- Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work
