Job Summary
Landscape Maintenance Technician performs spring and fall cleanups, plant care, and landscape maintenance to keep outdoor properties looking healthy. Responsibilities include pruning, trimming, leaf removal, debris cleanup, weed and pest monitoring, mulching, watering, planting flowers and shrubs, operating landscaping equipment (trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, sprayers), applying fertilizers and pesticides per safety guidelines, driving to residential and commercial sites, and maintaining safe work areas. Requires outdoor work, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, valid driver’s license, willingness to learn landscaping practices, and, after hire, willingness to obtain a South Dakota Pesticide Applicator License. Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation preferred.”,
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Willingness to obtain a South Dakota Pesticide Applicator License after hire
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to learn landscaping and plant care practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
