Landscape Maintenance Technician

Landscape Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari property: mow grass, remove weeds, manage trees and plants, trash removal, and ensure walkways and landscaping stay clear of ice, leaves, and debris year-round. Eligible for skill-based pay through certifications and cross-training across departments. Duties include assisting the Landscape Manager with supervising seasonal staff, coordinating materials and equipment, inspecting properties, and performing hands-on grounds-keeping tasks such as mowing, tree limb removal, pest control, fertilizing, and assisting with snow removal. Requires operating and maintaining landscape equipment (mowers, power washers, bobcats, tractors, etc.), adherence to safety SOPs, and willingness to work unscheduled hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of landscaping experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to operate landscape equipment, knowledge of plants, diseases, and irrigation, PPE/respirator fitness, valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills in English; may require overnight travel for seminars and conferences.
