Landscape Maint Manager

Job Summary
Oversees and manages overall repair and maintenance of the facility and grounds. Implements and oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all landscaping across Club grounds and golf course. Manages contracts and contracted services pertaining to maintenance. Ensures safe and proper use of chemicals and pesticides according to IPM practices. Oversees mechanical and power equipment operation, communicates policy changes, and schedules projects. Inspects landscapes, identifies issues, implements solutions, and recommends improvements. Manages department personnel by providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Associates (AA) degree; or two to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in managing personnel
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Florida Pesticide Applicator license
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial landscaping
- Strong working knowledge of plant materials, irrigation, chemical uses and applications, and turf management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and team members
- Ability to promote a positive work environment and strong team leadership
- Ability to organize and delegate job duties and needed resources
- Attention to detail

- Ability to work early mornings and some weekends/holidays
