Landscape Laborer

Mow grass, trim and edge, remove weeds, police grounds, irrigate lawns, mulch, reactivate flower beds, lay sod, and assist with pesticide application and pressure washing. Prepare and maintain landscaped areas in accordance with industry practices using standard tools and equipment while observing all safety rules. Perform monthly assignments based on seasonal schedules, service requests, and emergency responses. Report directly to the Landscape and Grounds Supervisor and work within a central landscape maintenance group. Requires high school diploma, one to three years of grounds experience, and a valid driver's license. Full-time 40-hour position at 37th & O Street NW, Washington, DC.
