Job Summary
Conduct bed preparation, planting, mulching, and landscape/hardscape installation while operating small engine equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, and rototillers. Communicate daily with the Manager regarding schedule and progress, maintaining attention to detail and safety during labor-intensive tasks involving repeated kneeling, squatting, bending, and lifting. Work outside in various weather conditions, including rain, cold, or extreme heat, while interacting professionally with managers, coworkers, and customers. Perform duties independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Be able/willing to work outside, occasionally in less than ideal weather conditions. (Rain, Cold, or extreme heat).
- Be able to do labor-intensive and repetitive tasks throughout an entire work shift. (repeated kneeling, squatting, bending, and lifting).
- Have some knowledge of landscape and hardscape, and a willingness to learn.
- Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
- Be able to interact professionally with managers, coworkers, and customers.
- Be able to work both independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications
- Include any previous landscape experience.
