Job Summary
Safely cut grounds using hand, power, or riding mowers to trim edges around walkways, beds, and walls while ensuring sites meet Nouria standards. Efficiently apply fertilizer, remove weeds and dead plants, and prepare sites for snow removal and salting. Operate mechanical equipment including skid steers, back hoes, and chainsaws to move soil, mulch, and plant materials, and perform tasks like planting trees, excavation, grading, and irrigation installation. Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and tools, and verify completed work conforms to company policies. Assist with loading and unloading work trucks and communicate regularly with your supervisor. This year-round opportunity requires high school diploma, one year of landscape supervising experience, and ability to lift 50lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 1 - year minimum experience with landscape supervising
- Knowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, perennials, and horticultural practices
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Strong verbal communication and written skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Irrigation system knowledge
- Hardscape installation experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as a skid loader and snow removal equipment
- Experience in utilizing landscape power tools, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, head trimmers, and chainsaws
- Experience with tree removal and pruning
- Snow removal experience
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time
- Ability to work after hours or weekends when deemed necessary
