Job Summary
Prepare and maintain garden beds, lawns, and outdoor areas while planting, pruning, and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant health, and assist in the design and layout of landscaping projects. Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely, collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and to specification. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. This temporary, casual role in Sydney, New South Wales is essential for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for our building and construction projects, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a tradesperson in landscaping or horticulture
- Certificate III (or higher) in relevant Horticulture qualification
- Knowledge of plant species and horticultural practices
- Ability to operate gardening machinery and tools
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for outdoor work
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- A valid driver's licence is preferred
