Job Summary
Landscape Foreman (Stormwater) lead a crew of 2-4 in planning, directing, and scheduling maintenance of stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and related assets). Role involves performing mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance, light construction, and equipment operation; travel locally/regionally (about 10 days per month) with per diem, and preparing reports using Apex proprietary systems. Emphasis on safety compliance, crew leadership, effective communication, and field documentation to support water-quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of experience with manual labor/outdoor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Reliable method of transportation
- Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check
- Motor vehicle record check
- Drug screening
- Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting)
- Travel locally and regionally (10 days of travel typical, Monday–Friday)
- DOT interstate transportation requirements require minimum age of 21
