Job Summary
Plan, direct, and schedule landscaping, routine maintenance, and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure including retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, and stormwater grates. Lead a crew of 2-4 members while enforcing safety regulations, operating landscaping and light construction equipment, and maintaining the equipment trailer. Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance, and cleanup for client properties. Prepare reports and document work in the field using proprietary systems while traveling from the shop to local and regional sites. This role supports the maintenance of stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties, with typical regional travel of 10 days per month.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of experience with manual labor
- Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally
- 10 days of travel is typical (M-F only)
- 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Reliable method of transportation
- Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e., bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.)
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Pass a pre-employment background check
- Pass a motor vehicle record check
- Pass a drug screening
