Job Summary
Landscape Foreman responsible for supervising and training landscaping crews on residential and commercial projects in Frederick, MD. Manage daily work schedules, allocate tasks, ensure safety and quality standards, communicate with clients, inspect equipment, assist with estimating labor/materials, and report progress to management. Requires hands-on landscaping experience, leadership experience, strong knowledge of plant care, turf management, hardscape and irrigation, ability to read plans, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on landscaping experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of plant care, turf management, hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and general landscaping practices
- Ability to read plans, execute projects efficiently, and troubleshoot on-site issues
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
