Job Summary
Read landscape plans and layout/install landscapes according to specifications while engaging with customers to ensure satisfaction. Direct, oversee, and participate in all team tasks, working hands-on alongside crew members to maintain production schedules and project deadlines. Train new hires, maintain clean and safe work environments, and complete inventory checks and equipment inspections. Complete necessary paperwork including time sheets, work orders, and audit checklists. This hands-on role requires a foreman with at least two years of experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year minimum experience in foreman position
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
- Self-motivated
- Strong leadership skills
- Professional in appearance and actions
- Ability to be proactive, plan ahead and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors, risks while keeping projects on task, within budget and on time
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Competent reading and writing skills
- Horticulture or landscape background
- Understanding of irrigation systems and drainage
- Understanding of standard construction
- Ability to lift 50-lbs unassisted
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
Desired Qualifications
- Able to operate a variety of mechanical equipment including skid steers, excavators, and dingo utility loaders
- Proficient in LMN
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
