Job Summary
Identify client needs, perform thorough site inventories, and create scaled base maps to develop uniquely desirable, artistic landscape designs. Produce accurate estimates, prepare detailed proposals, and present these solutions to clients in person or virtually. Procure necessary materials and collaborate with construction teams to ensure successful project implementation while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
- BA or Associates degree in Landscape Design and/or Horticulture or Landscape Architecture
- 3-5 years of professional experience in landscape design/sales
- Knowledge of Iowa horticulture
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Dynacsape, UVision (or similar design programs)
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Expertise in landscape construction methods and materials
- Ability to create and read blueprints
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Detail orientation and project management skills
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
Desired Qualifications
