Job Summary
Design landscape architecture and site design projects for education, commercial, and military clients, integrating civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection disciplines. Produce construction documents for planting plans, courtyards, building entrances, roadways, parks, playgrounds, rain gardens, and drainage features while applying knowledge of MOA Title 21 land use codes and northern building design. Work independently on multiple simultaneous projects with strong time management, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture required; AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup proficiency essential. No sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
- 0-3 years of experience with landscape architecture and site design projects
- Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and Revit
- Proficiency with producing construction documents for planting plans, court yards, building entrances, roadways, parks, playgrounds, rain gardens, and drainage features
- Familiarity with MOA Title 21 land use code and northern building design and construction in remote Alaska
- Experience or ambition to work on commercial, military, roads, schools, and park projects
- A positive, can-do attitude and the desire to be part of a team
- A client-focused ability to communicate effectively, provide a high level of attention to detail, and handle simultaneous deadlines
- The ability to maintain flexibility within a large scope of responsibilities
- The ability to take direction and work independently while staying highly organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
