Job Summary
Landscape Design Sales Specialist combines landscape design, estimating, and client relationships to move projects from concept to contract. Responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand goals, developing landscape design concepts into clear proposals, identifying bidding opportunities, preparing estimating and bidding schedules, following up on bids, visiting job sites to ensure alignment with standards, maintaining client relationships for repeat business, and supporting field operations and snow-related work as needed. Requires design creativity, construction/sales experience, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of recent industry experience
- 3–5 years of sales or client-facing project experience (strong emphasis on closing work)
- Strong knowledge of hardscape construction methods and materials
- Solid plant identification skills and understanding of New England plant material and care
- Experience with irrigation installation/service and snow operations estimating is a plus
- Proven ability to manage and train crews or field staff
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- CAD or similar design software experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- DOT Health Card required or ability to obtain
