Job Summary
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, and debris removal to ensure a clean and professional appearance. Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers safely while loading and unloading tools and materials at job sites. Collaborate with Crew Leaders, Foremen, and fellow team members to complete scheduled work efficiently and follow all safety protocols. Represent Sunrise Landscape professionally on client properties and interact respectfully with residents and the public. Maintain tools in good working condition and report maintenance needs or unsafe conditions immediately. This role requires physical stamina to stand, kneel, and lift 30+ pounds in varying weather conditions. Located in Tampa, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices and safe equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and client satisfaction
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, twist, and squat for prolonged periods throughout the day
- Ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds multiple times per day in hot temperatures
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, high humidity, and rain
Desired Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of landscaping or lawn maintenance experience preferred
