Job Summary
Load gas cans, mowers, and equipment onto trucks; mow turf, line trim, edge, sweep, and blow leaves. Prune shrubs, trees, and hedges using hand tools or chainsaws; pull weeds and clear debris. Operate powered equipment including mowers, tractors, snow blowers, and chainsaws to shovel snow, spread salt, and aerate lawns. Prepare soil, apply mulch, and install plantings while maintaining sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots. Wash and repair tools, fences, and minor structures. Work varying hours up to 12 days, including nights, weekends, and holidays in extreme weather.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a problem solver with the ability to find resolutions
- Self-starting individual who follows directions, adheres to a work schedule, and can focus on details
- Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Must be flexible and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to operate various lawn care machinery including mowers, edgers, backpack blowers
- Must be available nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to leverage 80 lbs of a walk behind mower over curbs
