Job Summary
Supervise a crew of 2-5 landscape maintenance workers while operating trucks and trailers to transport tools and materials to job sites. Ensure all tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing meet company standards, and conduct pre-trip inspections for safe vehicle operation. Train crew members on maintenance techniques and safety procedures, monitor daily progress, and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Communicate with clients and management regarding job status and special requests. This role requires a minimum of 5 years landscape experience with 2 years in leadership, a valid driver's license, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of landscape maintenance experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience driving trucks and towing trailers with equipment
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices
- Knowledge of plant care
- Knowledge of irrigation systems
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and schedules
- Excellent leadership skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated hand-eye coordination
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with remote-controlled equipment or similar electronic control systems
