Job Summary
Supervise and lead a crew of 2-5 landscape maintenance workers while operating trucks and trailers to transport crew, tools, and materials to job sites. Ensure all maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing are performed to company standards, and conduct pre-trip inspections for safe vehicle operation. Train and mentor crew members in proper techniques and safety procedures, monitor daily job progress, and communicate with clients and management regarding status or special requests. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on site. Requires valid driver's license with clean record, 5+ years landscape experience, and ability to lift 50 lbs outdoors in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of landscape maintenance experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience driving trucks and towing trailers with equipment
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices
- Knowledge of plant care
- Knowledge of irrigation systems
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and schedules
- Excellent leadership skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated hand-eye coordination
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with remote-controlled equipment or similar electronic control systems
