Job Summary
Direct crew members and equipment to plan and execute daily grounds and turf maintenance tasks, including planting, trimming, mowing, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing. Diagnose insect, disease, and cultural environmental conditions while maintaining open communication with management and clients regarding landscape needs. Operate, maintain, and properly drive landscape equipment. Complete Davey landscape career development books, first aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire. Requires a love of the outdoors and preferred background in Horticulture or Landscaping. Full-time permanent role in Avon, OH with up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Travel Expectations: Up to 25%
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: background in Horticulture or Landscaping
