Job Summary
Lead a crew of watershed management technicians in maintaining storm drainage systems, mitigating flooding, and disposing of debris from stormwater infrastructure. Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, chainsaws, and blowers while performing general environmental maintenance and documenting repair issues. Coordinate hotel arrangements for overnight regional travel and complete maintenance reports and expense tracking. Maintain company vehicles and attend safety trainings while performing extensive physical labor in various weather conditions. Regional travel is required 4-5 days per week with all expenses covered. Candidates with three or more years of directly related experience qualify for an enhanced starting wage.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating basic landscaping equipment
- Experience driving a truck and trailer
- Willing to travel regionally, overnight, 4-5 days per week
- Comfortable with extensive physical labor in variety of weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Insurability under the company's auto policy
- Ability to drive company vehicle
- Background check
- Drug screening
- Motor vehicle report
- Must maintain our Company's 'No Jerk' culture
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certification throughout employment
- Inclusion of marijuana in the drug testing panel
