Job Summary
Supervise and lead a team of landscape construction workers in daily tasks, adhering to schedules for landscaping needs. Inspect grounds regularly to ensure quality and safety standards are met while managing inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Train crew on proper techniques and safety procedures, communicating with Divisional Managers regarding project updates and maintenance needs. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and defined plan sets. Requires minimum of 3-5 years in grounds maintenance with at least one year in a supervisory role. Proficiency in construction equipment operation and horticultural practices is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grounds maintenance
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in the operation of construction equipment
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to pass DOT physical
- Ability to pass road test
