Job Summary
Landscape Construction Crew Member responsible for digging, planting, installing sod and mulch, loading and unloading heavy equipment and materials, maintaining neat and safe work sites, and performing landscape and hardscape tasks outdoors. Collaborates with a foreman and team to deliver high-quality landscapes for commercial clients, with responsibilities including loading tools, transporting materials, pruning and maintaining equipment, and assisting in installing plantings and lawns. Requires the ability to work outdoors year-round, follow instructions, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate basic hand tools and gas-powered equipment, with some travel outside the state.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and on a diverse team
- Able to travel outside the state
- Capable of following written and verbal instructions
- Ability to use simple hand tools and gas-powered equipment effectively and safely
- Basic exposure to horticulture and/or a willingness to learn more about horticulture
- Able to lift fifty pounds independently
- Able to remain on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to work under all types of weather conditions
