Job Summary
Assist with landscape and planting plans, renderings, and design exhibits while supporting research, calculations, and data entry for associated reports. Participate in site visits and tree assessments to help deliver design solutions for municipal, environmental, and wastewater projects. Prepare landscape sheets for entitlement drawing submissions and collaborate with land development teams to meet project goals and client expectations under senior guidance. Work with the project budget and utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite to execute technical deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent
- Skilled in AutoCAD
- Skilled in Adobe Suite
- Skilled in SketchUp
- Good graphic skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Regional plant knowledge for application in both planting design and field identification
- Good organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Proficiency with Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays
- Ability to regularly sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull
- Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises
Desired Qualifications
- Prior internship experience in land development
