Job Summary
Prepare site construction documents for public and private projects, including parks, education, commercial, and residential developments. Develop plans to support rezoning and special exception applications while assisting with public meetings and workshops. Design civil works using Civil 3D, including grading, storm water management, erosion control, and construction details. Conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning with 3+ years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and rendering tools. Based in Charlotte, NC, this role offers collaboration on innovative projects with a leading professional services firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning
- 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture
- Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, GIS/ArcView and Power Point
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Portfolio or work samples
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
