Lands Administrator

Lands Administrator leads management of TMWA real property matters including land use, rights-of-way and easement requirements, land acquisitions, facilities relocation, property management, and appraisal and permitting. The role scopes and directs Lands program policies, mentors Land Agents, coordinates with department leadership and legal counsel, and serves as primary escalation point for Lands issues. Responsible for reviewing and signing subdivision, parcel, and map documents, and for coordinating rights-of-way processes, title work, appraisals, and external contracts. Requires substantial knowledge of real estate, acquisitions, sales, and property management in utility operations; ability to analyze properties, conduct field inspections, review statutes and regulations, and manage multiple priorities. Must possess advanced communication skills, proficiency with computers, and a commitment to equal opportunity employment. Preferred qualifications include Nevada real estate license and Paralegal certification, with ten years of relevant experience and a bachelor degree in a related field.
