Job Summary
Answer landlord queries predominantly via phone, supplemented by email, live chat, and online forums, providing informed advice on the private rental sector. Log call details for future reference, actively listen to member concerns, and respond with practical solutions while signposting to third-party services or training. Contribute to identifying gaps within the NRLA knowledge base, develop content to rectify inconsistencies, and feedback recurring landlord issues to ensure consistent messaging. Maintain high performance standards based on KPIs including call answer rates, ensure compliance with legislation such as GDPR, and continuously self-learn on Private Rented Sector legislation and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level
- English GCSE
- Maths GCSE
- Understanding of Landlord and Tenant Law
- Knowledge of the Private Rented Sector
- Familiarity with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
- Experience of the private rental sector or social housing
- Experience of working in an administration/ office environment or home working
- Experience of dealing with the public with regard to listening skills and resilience
- Must be self-organised
- Ability to work within a team as well as individually and under pressure at times of high demand
