Landfill Sales Representative

Job Summary
Sell waste disposal and collection services to commercial and industrial accounts at Waste Connections’ landfill sites; develop and maintain relationships with customers through proactive follow-up, responsive service, and timely contract updates; provide consultative services on special waste profiling and disposal; participate in development of disposal agreements with Legal Counsel; stay current on federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations; collaborate with the Special Waste Sales Manager and sales team to formulate and execute market strategies, business goals, and sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree – Environmental services, chemistry, or other similar fields
- Sales experience in Special Waste related fields
- Strong communication skills
- 3 or more years’ sales and account management experience
