Landfill Heavy Equipment Operator

Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, and rear view cameras are clean. Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders while monitoring waste for unacceptable materials and equipment condition. Perform and document minor service on equipment, report necessary repairs to the Maintenance Shop, and complete Equipment Condition Reports. Clean tracks or wheels as needed and ensure the shop is clean, serviced, and stored at the end of each shift. Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
