Job Summary
Inspect equipment windows, lights, mirrors, and rear-view cameras before and after shifts. Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders while monitoring waste for unacceptable materials and equipment condition to minimize downtime. Perform minor service tasks, clean tracks or wheels, and document repairs by completing Equipment Condition Reports. Adhere to all safety policies, ensure the shop is clean and stored at shift completion, and report mechanical issues to the Maintenance Shop.
Required Qualifications
- Good customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers

- Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner
- Good follow through ability

- Strives to achieve all goals
- Two years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation
- One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA
