Job Summary
Landfill Gas Tech position at Camino Real Landfill (Waste Connections) performing gas collection system monitoring, installation, and maintenance. Responsibilities include monitoring gas wells, assisting in installing gas collection wells and pipes, operating data collection equipment, calibrating instruments, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with local/state/federal environmental regulations. Requires outdoor work ~90% of the day, exposure to dirt/ odors/weather, heavy lifting, PPE usage, and occasional travel (monthly trip to Durham Landfill in Florence, AZ). Must be able to work independently, be on-call for gas system operations, and hold a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Available for on-call response to gas system operations
- Previous gas experience preferred
