Landfill District Manager II,

Manage the day-to-day collection operations of a single site or multiple sites, establishing performance metrics and cost management processes while holding full P&L responsibility. Execute safety precautions ensuring compliance with Company, OSHA, and regulatory standards; conduct root cause investigations for all injuries and incidents with consistent coaching and retraining. Oversee personnel needs by selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees while managing termination, compensation, and promotion decisions. Formulate short-term and long-term goals with Senior District Management and participate in regular P&L reviews to ensure budget adherence. Interact with local city, municipal, and county agencies to ensure customer satisfaction, improve efficiency, renew contracts, and negotiate new agreements.
